In April of 1916, the Rose Hill was used for its first burial.
Currently, the Memorial Park covers 110 acres with 37,000
burials. There are still 3,000 plots remaining to be purchased.

Greek section of the cemetery

Because it is the second oldest cemetery in Tulsa, our park
enjoys a natural beauty that is not found in other younger
parks. We have made every attempt at keeping Rose Hill
more natural by leaving trees wherever possible. We
also allow upright markers to be used in every area.
This does make maintaining the park a little more time
consuming, but we think it is well worth that time.
